PAYMENT GUIDELINES & OPTIONS
|
Bank Plan Contract Guidelines
1. A monthly bank plan is available as an automatic withdrawal authorization from your checking or savings account with most banks.
2. The monthly bank plan requires a minimum of one-year (12 consecutive mo.) membership and is continuous thereafter until a written cancellation request is made to the YMCA. Written notice received by the 6th of the month will cancel that month's membership.
3. An initial down payment must be made with the YMCA office if you begin your membership after the 6th of the month. The current rate for membership will begin drafting on the 20th of that first full month. The draft on the 20th of each month pays for next month of your membership.
4. Account change notifications must also reach our office by the 6th of the month to become effective for that month.
Payment Plan Options
The YMCA offers a variety of convenient payment plans. They are full pay, bank draft, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and for those needing financial assistance - we have United Way Assistance.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIPS AND FITNESS PROGRAMS
The Green County Family YMCA is currently active in pursuing corporate membership agreements with local businesses. The corporate membership program is designed for employers who want to promote healthy lifestyles for their employees.
Corporate memberships can include a myriad of different possibilities. For example, discounts to employees are offered from the YMCA based on corporate donations to the YMCA. Some employees are reimbursed class cost for fitness activities; others will reimburse the employee for the full amount of membership based on participation.
If your business (company) is interested in finding out more about the corporate membership opportunities at the YMCA, please call Reid Stangel at (608) 325-2003.
The Swiss Colony, Monroe Clinic, Badger State Ethanol, Woodford State Bank, Canton Promotions, Glanbia Nutritionals, Dean Care, Humana Gold, Unity Health Plan and Group Health Cooperative offer fitness programs for their members. The YMCA supports all of these programs.

PRICING POLICY
From time to time the YMCA has to raise membership fees and program fees to meet expenses. Member program rates are usually 1/3 the cost of non-member fees. Senior citizens (65 yrs. and over) receive a 10% discount on classes, please remember to ask for your discount.
REFUND/CREDIT POLICY
1. Membership. Memberships not used can not be refunded. Usage is determined by the member. The YMCA staff is prepared to meet the demands of high usage by all members. Membership extension will only be given with a medical excuse from a physician.
2. Session Cancellation Policy. A YMCA session is a group of classes meeting between 5-12 weeks. A session can be canceled due to the following reasons: low registration, unavailability of an instructor, lack of equipment.
3. Class Cancellation Policy. A YMCA class, youth activity or swim lesson could be canceled due to storms, snow, unsafe conditions and rain. Make up classes will not be scheduled unless arrangements can be made with the program directors, instructors, necessary support staff and volunteers.
4. No refunds or credits given for bad weather or holidays for all fitness classes (including aquatic). You can make this up at any of our other fitness classes during the current session.
5. The YMCA reserves the right to reschedule or combine classes.
6. There are no credits given for individual classes missed.
|

7. A service charge may be charged to a participant who wants a credit for a specific class. Participants will be notified of this fee at the time of registration.
8. When a YMCA member registers for a class/program and the membership expires or terminates during the class/program, the participant will be charged the difference between the member and non-member price for the remaining dates of the program.
9. Gift certificates can not be redeemed for cash.
10. Youth Sports Refund/Credit Policy. In order to maximize participation opportunities the following became effective 8-1-95 A. Full refunds are given only if the program is canceled by the YMCA or for medical reasons with a physician's written excuse (refund is subject to cost of any direct expenses i.e. T-shirt). B. The YMCA offers new YMCA members an orientation about the YMCA. The orientation is recommended for several reasons. The most important reason is for new members to learn about the benefits of a YMCA membership. Members will learn about opportunities to volunteer and how volunteers are important to the YMCA. The new members will learn about YMCA policies and procedures. Also, at each orientation, members attending will be eligible for a drawing for a $10 YMCA gift certificate. An orientation schedule is listed below. Orientations will be held in the babysitting room and will last approximately one hour. You need to sign up for the orientation at the YMCA fron desk or by calling 325-2003. Orientations will only be held if someone has signed up. Please call 24 hours in advance.
